Biography

Cutler Real Estate asked Mitchell a few questions so you can get to know him better, and here are Mitchell's replies.

1. What is your professional/educational background?

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During my time at Purdue, I was a member of the Purdue Cycling Club, and competed on the collegiate level. After college, I worked in engineering for a medical device company, but it quickly became clear that sitting at a desk all day was not the job for me. I then got into field sales, selling electronics manufacturing equipment. This was much more my speed, and a stepping stone for progressing into real estate.

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

I chose a career in real estate after discovering real estate investing. Real estate investing had me hooked, and I have continued to learn ever since. I chose to become a realtor to help others build wealth and set up a better future for themselves.

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

I currently live in Fairfield, OH. We love the area and everything it has to offer. This includes great parks, access to stores, the best dog park around, and fantastic areas for a bike ride.

4. How do you spend your free time?

I spend my free time with my girlfriend and our animals. That could be going out to dinner or taking the dog to the dog park. If I'm not doing that, I am probably thinking about how to set myself up for a better future and learning everything I can about financial freedom and real estate investing.

I vote for Mitch. Why? He is down-to-earth and easy to establish a working relationship with him. He is quick to respond, especially with text or email. I felt he was looking out for my best interest at heart, and my vibe tells me he understood my concerns. I reached out to another Agent but did not feel a connection, so I moved on and found Mitch. He was willing to help a newbie investor like me, and we just recently closed on my first investment property. I am happy he is on my team! I can’t wait to work with him on my second one, and I see us working together for a long time. Yep, he is good, knowledgeable, and a keeper!

I am an out of state investor from San Diego. I contacted Mitch Huffman through the Bigger Pockets investing website. He gave me a call back within a couple hours and in our first conversation I could tell I had found a realtor that was not only knowledgeable about what RE investors are looking for but also someone I could count on to help me find my first property. Mitch was honest, very responsive, and even helped me analyze some properties to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Buying a property for the first time can be nerve-wracking, but Mitch's guidance helped this process move very smoothly and he was even able to put me in contact with lender and contractors that furthered me along in the process. I would 100% recommend Mitch to anyone looking to buy their first home or first investment property.

Mitch was very helpful in every aspect in selling and looking for a new home. He was friendly and answered questions promptly. He also assisted with finding a contractor to help with necessary home repairs prior to selling.

Being a new real estate investor from California, Mitch has done a wonderful job from beginning to end. Finding Mitch through the Biggerpockets website made him more attractive in the real estate world. I contacted several other realtors within Cincinnati, but Mitch was the most responsive and energetic real estate agent.
