Biography

Cutler Real Estate asked Jean Ann a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Jean Ann's replies.

1. What is your professional/educational background?

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

I always loved dreaming up new floor plans, restoring homes that might have been demolished was a dream of mine. After being relocated to Ohio, my Realtor made the suggestion, she thought I would be a good fit for the career in RE. That was in 1985. It's been a very rewarding career. Amy, my daughter joined me in 1995, how lucky am I?

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

I live in Muirfield Village a large subdivision with two 18 hole golf courses, pools, tennis, and miles of walk paths in Dublin Ohio. We have a putting green in our backyard, what a view! My husband and I both love golf. Dublin is an awesome community, a suburb of Columbus Ohio.

4. How do you spend your free time?

Golfing in the warm months is where you will find my husband and myself. Also enjoy tending to beautiful flowers and fresh veggies in my own yard. We like to travel. Visiting our Son and Daughter in Law in Montana is always on our yearly agenda. Amy our daughter and her two dogs warm our hearts, living near by we get to spend a lot of time with them, any time of the year.

5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?

My wedding ring, My photos of Amy and her beloved dogs, Ellile, Milly and Georgie,
Our photos from Christopher and Bridey's 2016 Wedding with our family and friends in Montana. 

I'm blessed with a lot of precious material possessions but none I would save before saving memories of the family.

Amy was beyond wonderful in helping us through a process we had not navigated for 39 years. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and always a “step ahead”. In a very competitive seller’s market, Amy got us in, submitted an offer, and negotiated to its acceptance almost immediately. When the small surprises that are bound to come up presented themselves, Amy had options, suggestions, and forms (oh, the forms!) to solve any issue. Throughout what was undoubtedly a routine transaction for her, she made us feel like we were the most important part of her day. Her warm and friendly manner complement her capable professionalism.

Amy went above and beyond to help us in our time of need. We lost everything we owned in a house fire and she was extremely understanding of our short timeline and the fact that this was our first time buying a home. After reaching out to her on a weekend, we were already in talks with a lender and looking at homes by the end of the week. She was always was looking out for our best interests. While it's the only time I've worked with a realtor, I couldn't imaging there being a better one out there!

Amy was wonderful to work with. We relocated from out of state and she spent a lot of time with us showing us around Columbus so we could hone in on which suburb we wanted to live in. She has been patient with us throughout our year+ home building process. Amy is very knowledgeable about the greater Columbus area and is a wealth of expertise. She is well connected and has personal relationships that are invaluable. Amy guided us through the home building process and was instrumental in our meetings with the builder. She also has a great design eye and helped us make design selections. And to top it all off she is personable and fun! You can't go wrong with Amy and her team and anyone would be lucky to work with her.

Amy and her team deserve all the stars! As first time home buyers, my husband and I were unsure what to except and Amy walked us through the entire process. Amy is amazing. We have now dealt with her twice. She was the agent who sold us our house and the one who sold it again five years later! She is smart, knowledgeable, patient and just a truly genuine person who is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She also has great insights on the market and very strong connections, which we found incredibly helpful. With so many horror stories about the real estate market, things could not have gone more smoothly with Amy. My husband and I would recommend her over and over again to anyone who is looking to buy or sell.
