Cutler Real Estate asked Christa a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Christa's replies.

1. What is your professional/educational background?

  • Stark State College
  • Malone College

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

My love for people and the chance to help them with the most important investment of their lives. This job also lets me foster my love for interior design and decorating with staging ideas for my clients.

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

Hilliard, Ohio is my residence location. My children attend Hilliard Schools. We love this area for the wonderful school system. We are very active with the schools but are also strong supporters of Boy Scouts of America, for which I’ve served as the Pack Chairman and my husband is a scout leader. My two sons are working on their Eagle Scout Ranking. My family has also particulates in a federally funded reading program that teaches reading techniques to both children and parents.

4. How do you spend your free time?

Cooking, antiquing, interior design and family time.

5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?

My family photo albums and my wedding ring,

Possessions mean very little to me. As long as my family is happy and healthy and with me that’s all I’d ever want or need.

6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?

Loyal!!

My wife and I used Christa in 2019 to sell our house in Hilliard and to represent us in buying land and building a house in Union County. Christa sold the Hilliard house within 5 days with minimum hassle. When my parents passed last spring, my sister and I contacted Christa to sell their condo in Marysville. Again the house had a contract within a week of going on the market and sold at asking price. Her knowledge in staging and marketing made both sales extremely easy. In addition, the contract negotiation for the condo took place while she was on family vacation but she took the time to take care of us despite the fact she was on vacation. We appreciate her dedication and highly recommend her.

Christa was an incredible realtor! I have never had a realtor work as hard as she did. She listens to your wants, she responds immediately, she guides you every step of the way and got our house sold for the price we wanted and in the middle of winter! Christa was absolutely phenomenal and gave us the best first home buying experience we could have asked for. She was honest, patient, great at communicating, and truly cared about us. We met Christa through a recommendation from a family friend and knew her positive outlook, outgoing personality and extensive market knowledge made her a perfect agent for us. She not only encouraged us to price our house higher than we had intended, but sold it for almost asking in only a month. She even helped our buyer with an issue related to closing when their agent didn't, so that our contract would grow through smoothly. She was always available to answer any questions we had and we would recommend her anytime.

We interviewed other Realtors and chose Christa because of her passion and expertise. We had a very challenging property to sell, but she was very positive and confident that she could sell our house. She worked tirelessly and negotiated with the buyer until the house was sold. With the real estate market in a frenzy I was apprehensive about putting my home on the market. I interviewed several agents and all gave me a price to sell my home that I was not comfortable with. We had been so discouraged with our previous realtor. A sign was placed in our front yard and then we never heard from her. When our listing expired with this other realtor we knew we had to find someone who would work hard for us. We met Christa at an open house that she was hosting. She was very motivated but not pushy. We had an instant feel that she was the realtor for us. We hired her to sell our home, which she did in 3 weeks. She then found us a home that we truly love.
