Biography
Cutler Real Estate asked Courtney a few questions so you can get to know him better, and here are Courtney's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
Graduate of Worthington High School, and Bennington College in VT. Member of MAREA.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I started rehabbing homes in the greater Columbus area when I was 24. I realized as Columbus grew into a larger city, I could impart this knowledge to future homeowners.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
Love all the different areas (German Village, Victorian Village, OTE), somewhat of a big city feel with small-town friendliness.
4. How do you spend your free time?
Reading, cooking and traveling.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
Books, music, and my dogs
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
Energetic, loyal, and hilarious.

Courtney is kind and warm. He helped us every step along the way. I knew absolutely nothing but he found the houses to look at, and when we got there he knew all the little things to look for that i would never have thought of.
He was such a tremendous support and we couldn't have done it without him.

As first time home buyers, Court was invaluable throughout the whole process. He took the time to walk us through what to expect and answer all our questions. He had open availability for touring homes and made the trek around multiple neighborhoods throughout the city.
He is very knowledgeable about most anything in a home and would point out things to pay attention to and keep an eye out for. Even after closing, Court has been available to answer questions and provide us with referrals for home improvement projects.

My husband and I worked with Court to buy and sell 3 properties over the years. The entire time, he has been knowledgeable, professional, reliable, and fun to work with. He gave us excellent strategic advice in terms of pricing and offers on both our home sales and purchases. He also gave great advice about what improvements could increase our home value before selling. Finally, we love spending a day with Court looking at houses! Brilliant agent! Court was a fierce advocate on our behalf and was patient, instructive and supportive in navigating the sale. I could not have asked for a better agent than Court. Buying our first house was quite intimidating, especially in such a competitive market. Court made us feel at ease and was able to answer even our most naive or niche questions. Court quickly understood what we were looking for and was a joy to spend Saturday mornings touring homes with. Courtney was absolutely amazing. He had so much patience with first time home buying questions, and believe, me we had a lot. We felt that he truly was invested in helping us find not just a place to live but the right home for us. Always professional, very knowledgeable; it was clear that he loves houses and knows houses. I don’t think we could’ve had a better experience.
