Biography

1. What is your professional/educational background?

Prior to Real Estate, I worked in non-profit Development, Marketing, and Fundraising, and have experience in Construction, Education, and Event Planning. I received my Bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001 and my Master’s degree in Sport Administration from The Ohio State University in 2005. I became licensed to sell Real Estate in 2019.

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

I love to learn and am an outgoing person that stays busy and likes a challenge. After buying and selling my own properties, I found that Real Estate was a perfect way for me to use my professional skills and education to engage with my community to make a difference in other people's lives. I've made new friends and met families that I will forever cherish. I've also gotten to witness the happiness that comes from finding a perfect home or improving a family's future by selling one. Being a Realtor allows me the flexibility that my family needs. Each transaction is different and the profession is always changing, so I'm never bored with my day job.

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

I've lived in Delaware, Ohio for over 40 years. Delaware has been home to my family for over 5 generations. I'm involved in my community and having lasting friendships with so many of my neighbors. I love the rich history it has and how much it has evolved in the last 15 years.

4. How do you spend your free time?

I spend my free time mostly with my family, often supporting my 2 teenagers with their many activities. I'm also a member of the Delaware City School District Board of Education. I enjoy watching movies and sports, listening to music, and hanging out on our boat.

5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?

I'll always want to keep my husband, kids, and family close above anything material. If I had to pick five items, I'd keep my family photos, my Bible, comfortable clothes, chocolate, and a radio.

6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
